In the past few weeks as I’ve taken Tech 621, I’ve become more accustom to the fun of reading random Tumblr accounts. I hopefully will introduce you to a world of awesome, yet random Tumblr accounts that will help you kill or waste time as a recurring feature.
This week we have Tom Hanks is a lot of Animals.
Tom Hanks is a very likeable actor and director. He’s delighted us in films such as Big and the Toy Story series. He’s also shown us that he is a very serious actor as well in Saving Private Ryan and Philadelphia. I think he’s great, but someone else thought he was so awesome that putting his head onto animals was a hilarious idea. You may think that’s an odd idea, but strangely it works:
This Tumblr account updates with a lot of different pictures with Tom Hanks on the head of an animal or some type of picture. This account even takes submissions and showcases them to the world. So if you’re in need of a good stress relief, you might want to take a look at this website.
I tried Tumblr for a couple days and it seemed like some particular categories had produced much more pages. I ended up browsing a lot of food websites
How is it different from Google+ Spark?
I may consider tumblr as a blogging platform in the future… but the Tom Hanks thing? I don’t get it…
I’m with Dr. V…. not really sure I understand Tom Hanks face on a monkey; now if it were all of our faces on monkeys, then I would get it after last weeks class and discussion about “calling back our inner monkeys”!
